GHGify exists because the tools to measure greenhouse gas emissions should not be a privilege reserved for large corporations with sustainability budgets. A corner shop, a school, a sole trader — every entity that emits has the right and the responsibility to know what it emits.
Where we are going
Measure. The first step is getting every organisation, regardless of size, to measure its Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions using internationally recognised standards — the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, and IFRS S2. GHGify provides that measurement tool, free, forever, to any entity on earth.
Manage. Measurement alone is not a plan. Once an organisation knows what it emits, the next step is managing those emissions — setting a credible reduction pathway, tracking progress, and identifying where to act first. GHGify's roadmap includes a carbon management layer that turns inventory data into actionable reduction plans, aligned to Science Based Targets (SBTs) and national net-zero commitments.
Verify. Trust in climate data depends on independent verification. GHGify is building toward third-party assurance integration and, for carbon markets, a blockchain-based voluntary carbon registry that enforces Paris Agreement Article 6.2 corresponding adjustments — ensuring every tonne is only ever counted once, whether at the company level, the national level, or the UN.
Our commitment to the United Nations and the Paris Agreement
The Paris Agreement's success depends on transparency. Under Article 13, every party must regularly report its national greenhouse gas inventory and track its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). That national data is only as good as the company-level data that feeds into it — and most company-level data, particularly from small and medium organisations, has never been collected at all.
GHGify closes that gap. When organisations consent to share their data, anonymised and aggregated emissions figures flow up the chain — from facility to entity, from entity to national inventory, from national inventory to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This is climate infrastructure in the literal sense: the plumbing that makes global accountability possible.
